These days we celebrate the two years anniversary of G2 Ocean. We have achieved a lot, both as a joint venture and together with our friends and colleagues around the world. Thank you for your support and efforts.

From day one, G2 Ocean, Gearbulk and Grieg Star joined forces in the fight against corruption in shipping. All three companies are members of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN). We have clear antibribery and corruption policies and we have Supplier Codes of Conduct. That is why we applaud IMO’s recent decision to address corruption in its work going forward.

We fight for a fair and healthy business environment and we do not accept any kind of conduct in breach of applicable anti-corruption laws and regulations. Corruption is theft and it is not accepted onboard our ships, in our offices, or any other place we do business. We report attempts of bribes and corrupt conduct.

Even if our stance in the short term may deprive us of business, our integrity is too valuable for us to risk. It is a cornerstone of our relationship with our colleagues, suppliers, customers, partners and other stakeholders.

Our efforts in fighting for a healthy business environment and our training programs are welcomed by our colleagues, and they adhere to our Codes of Business Ethics, and anti-bribery and corruption policies.

We choose to work with suppliers and agents who promote a fair and healthy business environment. That is why we expect suppliers and agents to sign our Supplier Code of Conduct and to join us in fighting corruption. Suppliers and agents are expected to impose our policy on sub suppliers and sub agents.

We are confident it is possible to create a shipping world without corruption, and we are grateful for your continuous support in this fight.
