G2 Ocean has achieved a significant milestone by successfully transporting the heaviest piece of cargo in company history.
The shipment involved a 376 metric tons reactor that was transported from Rotterdam, Netherlands to Houston, Texas on the general cargo vessel Star Istind.
The cargo was 10 metres wide, 7.76 metres deep, and 7.38 metres high. Due to the large size and weight of the cargo, two floating cranes were used to load the piece at the Port of Rotterdam. The cargo was safely discharged at the Port of Houston on July 23.
